What to Expect

We will greet you warmly at the front desk when you first arrive. You will then complete some initial paperwork before being taken to a room where we will obtain your vitals. Our chiropractic assistant will spend time with you to gather some basic information.

Once everything is completed, one of our doctors will review your chart and then discuss your health history in detail. You can also expect the following:

• A thorough examination
• Diagnostic testing if needed
• Proceed with treatment if you consent
• Adjust you, if you would like

“We normally try to treat on the first visit to start patients on some type of pain relief,” says Dr. Hoch. Adjustments are provided in private rooms for your privacy.

Expect the first visit to take about an hour to an hour and a half. You may need to wear a gown for therapy but do not need to wear one for your adjustment.

Hoch Chiropractic Center provides chiropractic ranging from symptomatic care to maintenance care. The care you receive depends on your age and condition. If someone comes back to our office for multiple treatments over a period of a year or two with the same condition, then this becomes an issue of recurrences. For cases like this, if exercise isn’t enough to provide strength and support to the body, being adjusted periodically is a good idea.
